To me, The Punisher has always been about one man's struggle to compensate for his being "in the wrong place at the wrong time". The Punisher is much more than a vigilante with a gun, he's a man that has suffered the ultimate loss. That of having his family murdered in front of him. My first exposure to the Punisher was in Daredevil. I had read that he was going to appear in a couple issues, and one was going to cross over with his. I went down to my local shop and purchased issues 5-9 (issue 10 was the x-over one) and I was hooked. Mike Baron and Whilce Portaico(yes the same one who later went on and did Uncanny X-Men and Wetworks) told stories that where full of action, gun play, human drama (the death of Microchip Jr), gun play and oh yes..gun play. The x-over with Daredevil sealed my fate as a Punisher fan. What I hope to convey in my series, is that same sort of combination. My stories pick up anywhere in Punisher continuity . Microchip and him are still a team in the war against crime. He still drives the battlevan and is Hell on wheels. Enjoy... Do you want to see more images of the Punisher?
